The natural world is bursting with metaphor if you would only open your eyes and look. Lessons in nature are easy and flowing. The more you wander the more you find. And in stillness you will hear the music of the trees, the wind, the water and all the creatures, calling to you with their wondrous symphony. Is there a greater tragedy than our disconnection from this world of infinite beauty?
The tree heals, not because it is on self-proclaimed healing journey but because every cell in its being is divinely programmed to cycle in and out of rest and repair, growth and death. The tree does not believe its is hopelessly broken, or that some more knowing, more authoritative tree must direct it in the path of healing. The tree does not also look at its healed parts in amazement and crown itself a healer whom which all other trees should follow. But the tree does still need help in this process, the tree is helped from all directions from the sun, the wind, the rain, the hidden network of roots beneath the ground and many other allies unseen.
